AdvoCare Update
Recently, I shared that I had joined AdvoCare, a health and wellness company. I'd signed up with hopes to lose weight, but also possibly earn money from any recruits or customers. My sponsor has been super supportive, and the products were of an ideal quality, so I thought all was well, but I was so wrong …
In less than a month, I'd lost 10.3lbs and sold $472.47. All was great … until I noticed that my back office didn't show any commissions from my downline or preferred customer sales.
Turns out, I didn't do enough research before joining, since AdvoCare only pays for retail sales and the difference between discounts for downline and preferred customers' purchases. Thus, since my downline and PC and I had the same discount—I didn't earn any commissions from their $472.47 purchases!
I'm absolutely furious that this imperative information isn't included on the company's website, because if it had been—I would have never signed up or promoted the company as I have!
I feel like an absolute fool for associating with a company that has such a sketchy commission system.
Also, I'm terminating my membership as soon as possible.
Due to the stress of not being paid and discovering AdvoCare's undesirable commission system, I'd started to stress eat again and regained some of the weight I'd lost.
Thankfully, I discovered this flaw before investing anymore time or money in AdvoCare.
Now, I have the responsibility of finding a protein-shake company with a transparent commission system.
